The Arctic Startup Expedition aims to develop the human capital of the regions of the Far East and the Arctic through supporting initiatives and projects of the creative economy.
Russia’s Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic suggested developing the Arctic Startup Expedition Russian Far East and Arctic (ASE) into an international project.
The ASE is a continuation of a unique project - the Far Eastern Startup Expedition, which the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) launched back in 2019. The focus then was on searching for technology startups. Nowadays, in addition to IT, it covers practically all key sectors, the Minister told reporters at the Digital Diamond forum.
I am confident this project will develop. […] My suggestion today, and I hope, it will be supported, is as follows: let us work jointly to make this project international. […] Our key partner countries in Asia, in the Middle East, in the world, I am sure, will be interested in taking part in this format, the Minister continued.
