The Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts organises a Summer School Creative Arctic in three Arctic regions of Russia: Krasnoyarsk Territory, Yakutia and the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug.
The summer school will feature intensive training from August 6 to 14 in Krasnoyarsk and Dudinka, from September 3 to 11 in Anadyr and from September 14 to 21 in Srednekolymsk. This educational programme was developed taking into account the interests of indigenous peoples. The participants will apply their knowledge in order to solve key problems of sustainable development in northern regions.
The organisers stress the importance of a dialogue with indigenous peoples to find solutions that contribute to the development of the Arctic territories. This programme specifically focuses on the skills that are crucial for creative industries. The aim of the project is to support entrepreneurship among indigenous peoples based on an equal exchange of experience and knowledge.
