The Festival’s guests will watch movies on the ice screen and warm up in yarangas on the river
An ice igloo will be built on the Anadyr Estuary, the Chukchi Peninsula. This format will be used for the first time in the Festival’s history.
The 8th Golden Raven Festival will take place on April 15-28, 2024 in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Anadyr, Russia. The audience will watch short and full-length films of various kinds from authors working in the Arctic regions.
Guests will be able to meet popular actors and take part in workshops and business meetings during the Festival, the official said.
The annual Golden Raven Festival is the professional competitive screening of cinematic works from around the world. The Festival aims to promote the best modern films related to the Arctic and reflect various aspects of life in this region, as well as to draw public attention to topical issues such as ecology, interethnic relations, the continuity of generations, the preservation of traditions and culture, etc.
