On March 12-13, Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) hosted India’s First International Workshop on Polar Region Policy.

This venue convened the maritime security agencies, academicians, researchers and experts to discuss various legal provisions and strategic approaches to the Arctic and Antarctica, and build partnerships for sustainable development.

The workshop was organized by the School of Integrated Coastal and Maritime Security Studies in collaboration with the Ministry of Earth Sciences, the National Centre for Polar and Ocean Research, and the UArctic Network.
