The Northern Forum will take part in the 2023 UN Climate Change Conference.
The 28th UN Climate Change Conference will be held from 30 November to 12 December 2023 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Northern Forum has 14 quotas to participate in the upcoming Conference (it had only 2 quotas last year).
The Northern Forum pays significant attention to climate change and its consequences. Over the years, the Northern Forum has organised a number of climate summits and workshops.
On behalf of the Chairman of the Northern Forum, the Information and Coordination Centre is currently being created at Yugra State University, Russia to study and resolve climate issues. Besides, the Forum will create an international expert group.
Climate change is one of the key topics of the Northern Sustainable Development Forum (NSDF).
The Northern Forum, as an Observer to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), is willing to make a significant contribution to the common cause.
The Northern Forum was established on 8 November 1991 in Alaska USA and the North Forum Non-Profit Organisation Certificate was issued on 29 November 1991. The mission of the Northern Forum is to improve the quality of life and support regional sustainable development.
