The state made a decision to continue funding the program to raise sunken ships until 2030. It is planned to raise 151 ships in the Far East and in the Arctic. In the Murmansk region alone, 68 ships will be raised.
We are currently dealing with the consequences of uncontrolled ship disposal in the waters in previous years. In 2022-2023, 131 ships were removed in the Far East, with the most raised in Kamchatka (25 objects in 2022, 30 in 2023) and in the Sakhalin region (34 ships). This year, we will remove another 82 - in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Khabarovsk and Primorsky Krais, in the Kamchatka Krai, in the Magadan and Sakhalin regions
