Polar explorers of the Russian Antarctic Expedition are among the three winners of the Winter International Film Festival of Antarctica (Best Actor category).

Representatives of all countries who spend winter at the Antarctic and sub-Antarctic stations can participate in the annual film festival. Winning the film festival brings recognition in the polar community and, of course, enthusiasm and happiness from victory.

The film festival provides an opportunity to take a short break from everyday work, laugh and feel the unity on the continent, the participants say.

The winners are determined by the polar explorers themselves. They evaluate the work of other stations.

A total of 40 films were submitted to take part in the official competition. The best films in the history of the festival are presented on the WIFFA website.
