The latest technologies for the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, as well as the effectiveness of scientific research in the Arctic will be discussed at a meeting of the Presidium of the Scientific and Expert Council of the State Commission on Arctic Development within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-2023), reported the Roscongress Foundation.
"Methods of assessing the effectiveness of scientific Arctic research, the latest technologies for the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, as well as a new “ArkTek” Arctic Technology Competition will be discussed by the participants of the Session II of the Presidium of the Scientific and Expert Council of the State Commission on Arctic Development within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum 2023, " stated in the message.
It is specified that the meeting of the Presidium will be held on September 11 and will be attended by:
The Scientific and Expert Council of the State Commission on Arctic Development was formed in June 2023. It includes representatives of major Russian universities and research institutes, government authorities, as well as companies implementing investment projects in the Arctic. The Council will become a key platform for interaction between business, scientific organizations and public authorities on issues of scientific and technical support of Arctic development.
The VIII Eastern Economic Forum 2023 will be held on September 10-13 in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU).
