Vostok Oil Facilities Expect Record Volume of Cargo

RN-Vankor (part of the Rosneft oil and gas production complex) has started delivering goods along the Yenisei River and the Northern Sea Route to production facilities located in the north of Krasnoyarsk Territory. During the summer navigation period, it is planned to deliver a record volume of cargo–about 1.5 million tonnes of materials and equipment. A total of 326 units of the fleet will be involved in the transportation from Russian ports .

Oil companies plan to use 14 berths and 5 production bases to receive cargo on Taimyr. Berthing facilities have already been prepared for unloading cargo ‑ work has been carried out on shore protection, preparation of storage areas, as well as all necessary environmental measures. Unloading operations will be carried out around the clock due to the short period of "high water" on the Bolshaya Kheta River.

It is planned to deliver metal structures, equipment, cable and wire and pipe products, wagon houses, cement and materials for the construction of facilities of the Vostok Oil project and maintenance of existing infrastructure at the fields of the Vankor cluster.

This construction season will continue the pilot industrial development of the Payakhsky, Ichemminsky and Baykalovsky fields, the construction of external transport facilities, the construction of external transport facilities, including the Vankor-Payakha-Bay Sever oil pipeline, energy supply facilities, logistics infrastructure, works on the construction of hydraulic structures, shore protection, expansion of coastal and berthing infrastructure, construction of an oil loading berth at the terminal Port Bay North.

Northern delivery is a complex of annual state measures to provide the territories of the Far North of Siberia, the Far East, and the European part of Russia, as well as North America in Canada, the USA, and Greenland, with basic vital goods on the eve of the winter season.
